Serena Williams the tennis champ becomes a spectator as she watches Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz’s gold medal match at the Olympics
Serena Williams made one more appearance at the Olympic tennis events.
Only this time she was there as a spectator to see Serbian Novak Djokovic and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz compete for the gold medal.
The 42-year-old Golden Slam winner was completely absorbed in the final of the men’s singles tournament for the Olympic Games.
Her blonde curls hung loose, contrasting with her black letterman jacket, tank top, pants and sunglasses.
With his victory, Dkokovic becomes only the fifth player in tennis history to win the Golden Slam as a singles player, after Rafael Nadal, Serena, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf.

The match was a repeat of the 2024 Wimbledon final, in which Novak defeated his rival 7-6 7-6 in the men’s singles final at the Stade Roland-Garros on Sunday afternoon.
With that he won Serbia’s second gold medal in Paris and the country’s eighth as an independent nation in history.
After securing the Olympic title on his fifth attempt, Djokovic said the victory was “perhaps the greatest” success of his illustrious career.
Serena was completely into the match and showed her emotions as the match progressed.
During the race, the Compton, California native was spotted chatting with IOC President Thomas Bach.
Meanwhile, Serena’s husband Alexis Ohanian, 41, recently joined forces with rapper Flavor Flav, 65, to support another Olympian.
Both men jumped in to help U.S. team member Veronica Fraley. Fraley throws discus on the track and competes. The night before her event, she posted on X (formerly Twitter) that she couldn’t pay her rent.
“I’m in the Olympics TOMORROW and I can’t even pay my rent. My school only pays 75% of my rent, while they pay football players (who haven’t won anything yet) enough to buy new cars and houses,” she said.

Hip-hop legend Flavor Fav wasted no time in reassuring the discus thrower so she could focus on her task.
Less than 10 minutes later, Reddit co-founder Ohanian joined the conversation and offered his help.
“Come on now! I’m sharing this with @flavorfav,” the businessman responded.
Less than two hours later, Ohanian returned to X and wrote, “Update! It’s done,” he simply wrote in a post, along with another post stating that Fraley had been awarded $7,760.
