Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans’ son Jace towers over his mom as she celebrates his 15th birthday: ‘How did those years go by so quick’

Jenelle Evans, a teenage mother, celebrated her son Jace’s 15th birthday on Saturday.

The 32-year-old reality star, who recently broke down in tears over her split from husband David Eason, took on Instagram to share a touching photo of the mother-son duo commemorating the milestone.

In the photo, the couple had their arms around each other in front of a candlelit cake. Jenelle also shared a short clip of Jace’s festivities.

“What’s 15? 15 is riding 4-wheelers, building tents, ordering pizza with friends. This is how @jace_vahn wanted his birthday!” she captioned the post.

In February, Jenelle was reunited with Jace after Child Protective Services dropped charges against her and her husband David Eason.

She took her TikTok shared an adorable video of a family dinner with Jace, who was removed from her home after Eason allegedly assaulted the teen in September 2023.

In November, Jace was removed from his mother’s home after he told doctors that Eason had abused him.

He was then placed in the care of his maternal grandmother, Barbara. It is unclear whether Jace will be allowed to live with Janelle again after Thursday’s revelation.

According to TMZJace alleged that Eason, whom Jenelle married in 2017, attacked him after he recently tried to run away from home.

The insiders claimed that Evans’ son had visible scars on his neck and arms and that the alleged attack allegedly took place at an acquaintance’s home.

Both local police and CPS are said to have obtained Ring camera footage of the incident.

Following the alleged attack, Evans and Eason were both the subjects of investigations for suspected child abuse.

It was reported that the latter of the two had been formally charged with a crime in connection with his involvement in the October incident.

Janelle is also a mother to Kaiser, nine, and Ensley, six. David’s daughter, Maryssa, 16, also lives with the family

CPS took the teen into custody after he ran away from home multiple times and after his stepfather, David Eason (R), was accused of physically abusing him.

Officials have since determined that a separate charge of alleged strangulation applies to the media figure’s wife.

In November, Jenelle suggested that her mother Barbara was the culprit behind the child abuse investigation and charges against Eason, and that she was also responsible for the dire consequences of the ongoing situation.

“All these comments are from one person spreading it – if you know who I’m talking about,” she wrote on social media.

“This will all be over soon and then I can tell you the full truth and what’s going on,” she said, “but please keep your comments to yourself because I’m trying to keep my mental health in check.”

Jace reportedly hasn’t had any contact with the Teen Mom 2 star or her husband David since he was kicked out of their home and moved back in with Jenelle’s mother Barbara.

The new arrangement appeared to benefit the teenage boy, who was happier than he had been in recent weeks, according to sources with direct knowledge who spoke to him. TMZ.

Janelle said it was likely Jace’s father, Andrew Lewis, or her mother, Barbara Evans, who leaked the information because they were the “only two people who knew the information.” Jenelle and her mother pictured in LA in August 2015

It was reported that Eason, whose behavior was defended by his wife earlier this year, was accused of physical abuse by Evans’ son Jace last October.

Jace had run away from home several times and was returned to his parents each time.

Although Jace was back living with Barbara, where he had lived most of his life, he was formally under the guardianship of Child Protective Services, who removed him from his mother and stepfather’s home.

According to the same sources, Barbara, who has had a stormy relationship with Jenelle for years, has also no longer had any contact with her daughter or with David.

Jenelle has a nine-year-old son named Kaiser with her ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith and a seven-year-old daughter named Ensley with David.

David also has two children, Maryssa and Kaden, from previous relationships.
