Boy, 15, is charged with murdering his glamorous neighbor, 62, in her hot tub ‘just to feel what it was like to stab someone’
A Texas teenager accused of killing his neighbor in her hot tub told police he wanted to feel “what it’s like to stab someone.”
The 15-year-old, who has not been identified due to his age, is accused of killing Dana Magnuson, 62, in her Hockley home.
He was arrested nine days after Magnuson’s body was found in her shed on July 20.
“I’m just numb,” said Tyler Pitney, Magnuson’s son. “The way my mother was murdered in cold blood, it just leaves me with a feeling I can’t even describe.”
Investigators believe Magnuson was attacked by the teen in the hot tub, after which the fight moved to her home and eventually to her shed.

“There was still blood everywhere,” Pitney said. FOX 26and added that the boy was known to his mother and helped her with gardening.
After he was arrested, he told detectives he wanted to experience what it felt like to stab someone, sources said. ABC13.
He is currently in the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
Magnuson was a school bus driver and an avid marathon runner.
Her eldest son described her as a loving mother.
“My mother is the most beautiful person, inside and out. Anyone who knows her will tell you the same thing,” Pitney said in a tribute post.

‘My goal in life was to buy my mother the house of her dreams and never make her work a day in her life.
“My mom is the best mom ever and if you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting her or calling her your friend, you know what I mean. She’s an angel and always has been.”
It is the second tragedy to hit Pitney’s family after his brother Gage died by suicide.
Pitney and his other brother Zach have since had a fundraising to help with the funeral expenses.
“My mother, my best friend, my rock, was found brutally murdered in the backyard of her own home while she was gardening,” Pitney wrote.
“She left behind her two sons, her beloved dog Mickey and SO many other friends and people who loved her.”
GoFundMe has now raised $2,642 toward its goal of $25,000.
