Kmart Australia shoppers spot never-before-seen ‘high-end’ item on store shelves: ‘I can’t believe the price’
Kmart customers are rushing to stores across the country after spotting the Apple iPad Mini 4s on shelves for the first time.
The Apple iPad Minis are described as a ‘compact powerhouse’ with a sleek design. They come in space gray, gold or silver.
The refurbished Kmart iPads cost $269, come with Wi-Fi and mobile internet and have a capacity of 128GB.
An observant shopper who spotted the “unexpected” item on Kmart’s website shared the bargain find with a member group.
Buyers are excited about the new technology offerings and have no problem with their refurbished device, especially considering inflation and the high cost of living.
“Refurbished iPhones and products are actually great. You’re essentially buying them second hand, but they’ve been professionally modified to make them as functional as possible,” one woman said.
Others said the affordable purchases would be a great and affordable way for kids to watch videos and play games.
However, some warned that the Mini 4, which launched in 2015, was an old model that might not accept all updates or work with all apps.

“My daughter has an iPad and you can’t do updates anymore, it’s so slow… you can’t actually download anything because you need newer updates,” said one woman.
Others who had vowed never to buy refurbished technology again quickly agreed.
“Refurbished means that other customers are sending problem items back to the store to have them ‘fixed’ before they go back on sale. Buy refurbished items at your own risk,” one man warned.
Customers have indicated that the refurbished Apple Minis are available not only at Kmart, but also at Woolworths and Coles.
Kmart fans have been in a frenzy lately over several new “hot buys,” including the $99 Spot Cleaner.
The stain remover has received hundreds of rave reviews online from people who say they “can’t believe” how much dirt it sucks out of carpets, couches and car seats.
“I bought one after reading an online review. I was not disappointed. The color of my dirty water says it all. My couch looked clean but it definitely wasn’t,” said one woman.
