Bono was in good spirits when he mingled with the stars in a surprise appearance at the film premiere of The Banshees of Inisherin in Dublin on Friday.
The 62-year-old U2 frontman wore an all-black tuxedo with satin lapels over a matching T-shirt and smart trousers.
Bono was accompanied by his wife Ali Hewson, 61, who wore a black jacket and matching skirt, with the couple posing arm in arm.

They joined cast members Colin Farrell, 46, who plays Pádraic Súilleabháin, and director Martin McDonagh, 52.
Colin looked neat in a black suit he wore with a crisp white shirt that the actor unbuttoned at the collar.
Martin also wore a smart black suit which he paired with a matching shirt, with the pair joined by actor Brendan Gleeson, 67, who portrays Colm Doherty’s character.

The fencing star wore a navy blue suit which he paired with a black T-shirt, with the star casually posing with his hand in his pocket.
The Banshees of Inisherin follows two lifelong friends (Farrell and Gleeson) who, according to the synopsis, “find an impasse when one ends their relationship abruptly, with alarming consequences for both.”
The film also stars Kerry Condon, Pat Shortt and David Pearse, with Martin McDonagh directing from his own original screenplay.

Both Farrell and Gleeson starred in McDonagh’s first feature film, 2008’s In Bruges, and Farrell also starred in his second film, 2012’s Seven Psychopaths.
Farrell already starred in The Batman and Thirteen Lives this year, and he’s gearing up to return as The Penguin in a new Batman prequel TV series.
He also films Sugar and stars alongside Rachel Weisz in the new film Love Child from writer-director Todd Solondz.
Gleeson is currently filming A Greyhound of a Girl and is attached to star in Joker: Folie a Deux.
The Banshees of Inisherin is set for a UK release on Friday, October 21.
