Simone Biles wins ANOTHER Olympics gold as USA icon prevails in gymnastics all-around event as teammate Suni Lee takes bronze
Simone Biles has added another Olympic gold medal to her list of achievements after finishing top of the all-around event at the Paris Olympics on Thursday.
Her American teammate Suni Lee also won a bronze medal after a sensational performance on floor exercise, while Brazil’s Rebecca Andrade won silver.
Biles, who became the most decorated American gymnast of all time by winning gold in the team final on Tuesday, recovered from a rare mistake on the uneven bars to win her ninth medal of her Olympic career.
The 27-year-old rebounded with excellent performances on beam and floor, beating Andrade and cementing her reputation as the best American athlete of all time.
She performed her latest trick alongside her proud husband Jonathan Owens, who was given time off from his NFL training camp with the Chicago Bears to travel to Paris this summer, where he was able to watch from the stands.
In the second round of the event, Biles was furious after botching a change on the uneven bars, ceding the lead to Andrade.
