Toone now wants to lift silverware at club level with Manchester United
“I was with United for seven years and there was no women’s team to look up to and then all of a sudden they stopped investing and we had a women’s team and we’ve grown since then,” Toone said.
“You’ve seen the amazing talent we’re signing now and the club’s growth and ambition is huge. Of course we just want to keep growing and aiming high.
“Trying to win trophies with the club is the next step. I’m really excited to be a part of it. We have a lot of depth in the squad now.
And we are hungrier than ever to keep going and push for the Champions League places. Any team in this league can beat any team.”
