Serena, 42, looked stunning in a short-sleeved black mini dress, paired with bright blue trainers.
The tennis star styled her locks in loose waves and also wore a large gold necklace that day.
Film director Spike, 67, wore a white American vest with matching cap and dark tracksuit bottoms.
American gymnast Simone performed at the final, which was also attended by her husband Jonathan Owens and her parents Nelle and Ron.
It comes after Nicole and her family goods spotted watching 14-year-old Australian skateboarder Chloe Covell compete in a competition.
Nicole also has adopted son Connor, 29, and daughter Isabella, 32, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
However, her hopes of repairing the estranged relationship with her son appear to have been dashed.
According to New ideaThe actress now fears she has lost him to Scientology for good and that the chance of reconciliation between the two seems unlikely.
This heartbreaking revelation comes after Connor recently showed off a new tattoo symbolizing his unwavering devotion to the controversial religion.
“Nicole’s longing for her son is very real and extremely painful,” a source told New Idea.

“But it will be hard for her to see Connor redouble his dedication to Scientology with a permanent tattoo on his body.”
The tattoo in question, which reads “1938” on Connor’s arm, is said to refer to the first mention of Scientology by its founder, L. Ron Hubbard.
Sources claim the new ink points to Connor being some sort of “prince” of Scientology, indicating his rise within the church’s ranks. This development has Nicole deeply concerned.
Connor and his sister Isabella have remained staunch Scientologists since their parents’ much-publicized divorce in 2001.
The siblings keep a conspicuous distance from their mother, reportedly because of her status as a “Suppressive Person” within the church.
“Nicole knows that Connor and Bella are committed to their father’s faith and will always respect that,” the source added.
“She had hoped that they would grow out of it as they got older or at least give her a chance to explain it. But when Connor is earmarked for a senior role in the organization, Nicole knows she’s likely to lose him for good.”
Nicole has said in the past that she prefers to keep her relationship with her children private.
Tom and Connor have been spotted together at sporting events on occasion. Tom has a daughter Suri, 18, with his ex-wife Katie Holmes, 45.
