Lauryn Goodman’s daughter’s name revealed following months of ‘KW’ hints on social media – as influencer loses her bitter High Court battle against Manchester City and England defender Kyle Walker

Lauryn Goodman and Kyle Walker’s daughter has been revealed as the influencer leaves the High Court in London after losing her maintenance case with the Manchester City and England footballer.

The 33-year-old social media personality welcomed daughter Kinara in August 2023, two years after the birth of Walker’s son Kairo.

But while her eldest child’s name was made public shortly after his birth, their daughter’s was kept stoically secret until Goodman’s High Court case against the footballer began.

The child’s name has since been announced, with Goodman apparently preferring another name beginning with the letter K.

Walker today criticized Goodman’s “insatiable greed” after a judge ruled in his favor in a major child support battle.

The Manchester City and England footballer claimed the extraordinary court ruling, announced today, exposed the influencer’s “relentless pursuit of money”.

In January, it was revealed that Walker, 34, who is married with four children, had fathered a daughter with Goodman, 33, four years after their birth.

His wife, Annie Kilner, 32, threw him out of their £3.5million Cheshire marital home, and while he fought to save his marriage he rented a house nearby for £20,000 a month.

Since then, Walker and Goodman have both given their own revealing interviews to various newspapers, but strict court orders ensured that the core of this horrific drama and the staggering sums involved remained secret until Tuesday.

In a highly unusual ruling, following legal challenges – including those from the Mail – restrictions on reporting were lifted, meaning the most eye-catching details can be made public.

Walker, who reportedly earns £160,000-a-week and has a reputation off the field as a rogue with a wandering eye, emerged from the stinging judgment with a renewed attitude, having been described by judge Edward Hess as “sober and reasonable”.

Meanwhile, his former lover – who, it emerged in court, was once prosecuted for benefit fraud and has just £10,000 worth of assets to her name – was criticised as a spendthrift who ‘spent money like it was going out of fashion’ and treated Walker like ‘an open chequebook’.

Walker himself summed up the situation this way: “If I were a painter and decorator, I would know it wouldn’t have come to this,” he said.

Last month, Goodman appeared to take a dig at Walker's current drama with his fiancée Annie Kilner, after he claimed she had an affair with a toyboy during their split.

And a spokeswoman for Walker told MailOnline: ‘This ruling speaks for itself and exposes Lauryn Goodman’s insatiable greed and ruthless pursuit of money.

The judge made it clear: She used Kyle like an open checkbook and threatened him repeatedly to get what she wanted.

‘She then organized a media campaign to intrude in an unacceptable and unlawful manner on the privacy of Kyle, Annie and their young family.

‘During each trial, the judge found Kyle to have taken a fair and generous position. These proceedings were never necessary.

‘Kyle’s offer should have been accepted months ago and would have eliminated the need for additional stress for everyone involved.

“In light of this ruling and the truths it makes public, my client and his family now ask that the media fully respect their right to a private life as they take their next steps.”

The court heard that Walker had seen Kairo four times and Kinara once, with Judge Edward Hess saying in his ruling that Goodman “wanted the relationship to develop further than it did”.

He added that Walker’s decision to “draw a line” in their relationship in favour of focusing on his marriage was a “source of disappointment, anxiety and anger” for Goodman, and that the footballer “has no current intention of repeating” the “small number of fleeting encounters” he has had with their children.

Goodman said in her testimony that she did not want her children to be “any different” from Walker’s children with his wife and that the money was intended to “secure the future of my children.”

She said: ‘He (Walker) has formed a bond with Kairo, who is now sitting there asking about his father. He is not thinking about your situation and what you are going through. Lauryn Goodman It is all just awful.’

She continued, “I would do anything for my child. If that meant the father of my child having a relationship with my child, I would facilitate that.”

She said, ‘You ask for things and then you get ignored, and then you end up in this situation. He (Walker) doesn’t care.

“He doesn’t think about your situation and the problems you’re dealing with.”

The court heard that Goodman made multiple financial demands on Walker, running into hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Walker resisted a number of demands or argued that they should be reduced, despite earning between £3 and £5 million a year.

In written statements, Nichola Gray KC, for Goodman, said: ‘This is an amount that will make a huge difference to the lives of the mother and children, but it is an amount that will make no difference at all to the father.

“This case is not about affordability. The father clearly has the means, and ample means, to satisfy any claim that the mother has made.”

She added that Kinara’s birth “inevitably brought about a radical change in the daily childcare burden” that Goodman faces as a single mother, and claimed that Walker “completely underestimated” the “task of juggling the needs of two children on her own.”

She continued: “Sadly, it is difficult not to conclude that Goodman has abused her position and sees this as an opportunity to try to extract a prize far beyond the additional cost of a second child.”

The previous court case over payments to the couple’s son resulted in Walker being ordered to pay various costs, including monthly maintenance payments of £8,000 and more than £180,000 in lump sums.

He later also bought a property in Sussex worth £2.4 million for Goodman and their children.

Gray said Walker was required to pay Goodman £7,000 a month in maintenance for Kinara under a court order made in January this year.

She said the footballer had been “repeatedly late” in paying childcare costs and had “unilaterally” reduced maintenance payments to £839 a month, accusing him of “arrogance”.

Walker apologized in response, admitting that he “did take that deduction,” but that he “did not underpay Lauryn” because he had overpaid the previous two months.

He said, “I feel like in certain things in all of this I have been more than generous, more than generous, than what I should have been or was instructed to be.”

He later added: “I paid whatever amount was asked of me.”

Judge Hess ruled that Walker should not be punished for the back payments, which he described as “a mistake by the father.”
