Starborn is apparently the name of Starfield’s second expansion
It resembles Star fieldThe second expansion is already in the works before the release of Shattered Space.
First noticed by X/Twitter user Timur222 (through VGC) it seems that Bethesda trademark The name ‘Starborn’ was announced earlier this month, on July 12, by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It is expected to be the second major downloadable content (DLC) for the sci-fi role-playing game.

For context, the name “Starborn” directly refers to a group of space travelers who have traveled through portals between different universes. While we don’t know exactly what the next Star field expansion, it’s likely, given the name, that it will focus on the creatures the player encounters at the end of the main story.
Starfields The first expansion, Shattered Space, is scheduled for release in fall 2024 and will feature a “brand new adventure” focusing on House Va’ruun.
Fans got their first official trailer last month at the Xbox Games Showcase, which provided a look at the new first-person exploration of a derelict space station and a vibrant new planet, along with a brief description of what to expect from the story.
“A mysterious force stirs the city of Dazra on the hidden homeworld of House Va’ruun,” it reads. “Investigate a terrifying cosmic threat, explore a new planet, and find unique weapons, spacesuits, and gear in this all-new adventure.”
Bethesda previously shared its content roadmap for this year and has already stuck to its plans by releasing major updates in the form of quality-of-life patches and bug fixes, as well as official Nvidia DLSS support and new ways to travel and personalize your ship.
