Cardi B has responded to allegations that she was trying to sell one of her homes to deal with a “secret” financial crisis.

The 31-year-old WAP rapper, who recently criticized Popeyes for a chicken wing flavor, took issue with her X Monday to respond after Icy Scoop News claimed in a now-deleted post that she was “facing foreclosure on her Atlanta home” and “was having to try to make the payments.”

“LMAOOO Y’all motherfuckers wish… me and offset bought that house in 2019 for 5 million now its worth 7 million look at the market in Atlanta,” Cardi B wrote, referring to her rapper husband.

She added: “And no, we’re not selling it… and if I ever did sell it, I would just sell my share to Offset, because he loves Atlanta. Throwing salt on my house? Bad hate.”

The original tweet from Icy Scoop News read: ‘Cardi B’s secret struggle: She’s reportedly trying to sell one of her homes, but she’s completely broke. She’s on the verge of foreclosure and the pressure is mounting as she fights to make the payments. The stakes have never been higher.’

The backlash came after Cardi B opened up about her finances Complex in March, in which she listed her alleged $80 million fortune.

The caller even suggested that Cardi B. may have been hit by a bullet, prompting officers to arrive at the scene with sirens blaring and weapons at the ready.

However, upon arrival, police quickly concluded that the alarming message was nothing more than a hoax.
