MrBeast’s trans co-host Ava Kris Tyson leaves YouTube channel after apologizing ‘to those who feel betrayed by how I used to act online’ after accusations she sent inappropriate texts to a minor

Mr Beast co-host Ava Kris Tyson has left the popular YouTube channel after responding to claims she had an “inappropriate” relationship with a child, apologising to “those who feel betrayed”.

Tyson, who rose to fame through her role on the MrBeast channel, said on X last night: “I want to apologize for my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. That was not my intention.”

“Given recent events, we have mutually decided that it is best for me to permanently step away from MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and my mental health.”

She added that she did not want the allegations to affect the people who worked at MrBeast, “which is why I have distanced myself.”

“I would also like to add that I have never manipulated anyone,” she said on the social media platform, noting that the person named in the allegations “has been vocal in stating that they are false.”

“That being said, I humbly apologize to anyone I have hurt with my unacceptable social media posts, my past actions, and those who feel betrayed by the way I behaved online,” the social media star said.

Tyson allegedly sent racy messages to a minor she first met when the person was 13 and she was 20.

The two were reportedly introduced after the child won an online competition.

At the time, Tyson was known to YouTube fans as “Chris” because she had not yet transitioned her gender identity.

Tyson, who has a son with her ex-wife, is said to have communicated with the fan for years through public online forums before they met in real life when the teen turned 16.

The fan, now an adult, says he is not a victim and has defended Tyson, although he has admitted that some of the messages were “inappropriate” and “edgy.”

Since the relationship was revealed in a series of revealing videos and clips, several controversial posts from Tyson have surfaced.

In an X-post today, Tyson wrote: “I would like to apologize for my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. That was not my intention.” The fan, now an adult, says he is not a victim and has defended Tyson – but admitted some of the posts were “edgy.”

Several photos show Tyson interacting with “Shadman,” an artist known for drawing young characters in sexual poses.

In one post, Tyson begged Shadman to “draw a 10-year-old anime girl.” Other posts show Tyson sexualizing cartoon children.

The scandal comes just a month after Dr Disrespect, a well-known Twitch gamer, was blacklisted from the online community after admitting to sending inappropriate messages to a minor.

MrBeast, who has a net worth of $700 million, is known for his extravagant stunts and philanthropic initiatives. His YouTube channel has 300 million subscribers.

Tyson is also a personal friend of the YouTube star.

Outrage on social media emerged after a series of videos purportedly showed Instagram posts of Tyson and the minor who visited them at the university.

The two photos show Tyson with two other men in 2020, but the person who is reportedly a minor is blurred.

The claims suggest that the child, who goes by the name ‘Lava’, met Tyson through a fan meeting after winning a competition through the MrBeast YouTube channel that he and Tyson started in 2012, according to Insider Gaming.
