Beyonce’s camp has hit back at allegations that her stylist Marni Senofonte failed to compensate fashion and art designer Nusi Quero for his work on the artist’s album Renaissance.
“It is deeply disturbing that designer Nusi Quero has made harmful statements about Marni Senofonte regarding non-payment for completed work,” a representative of the musical artist said. Page six on Thursday. “In fact, he was paid for his work, and there is evidence of all the payments.”
The representative continued: “We have been in contact with his team and three payments have been made to him. The first payment was made on May 9, 2022.’

Quero posted an open letter addressed to Senofonte on Instagram this week, according to the outlet, saying he was never compensated for his Renaissance efforts.
“As a stylist for B, I really expected the best from you and your team,” Quero said, “but since you don’t respond to texts and emails.
“I assumed this is the last place I can use without legal means to settle your outstanding balances, which you owe me and my associate for about three months.”
Quero said Senofonte “paid me a 50 percent down payment for one of the three tracks (not the album cover), that’s all, and it took over a month to get it to us.”

He said an administrative problem with his bank was quickly resolved; a Beyonce representative said Quero’s bank was in trouble, but his story about the story was false.
The representative said: “The second payment, a fifty percent deposit on the agreed fee, was made by bank transfer on July 8, 2022. The third and final payment was refunded when he changed his account number. It was returned as an invalid account number based on an error on his part.”
“After persistent and exhaustive communication to get the correct information into his account and two failed wire transfer attempts, a physical check was sent to him for the final payment on September 29, 2022.”
According to the outletIn a post Wednesday, Quero listed four separate jobs he did for the Grammy-winning artist, including Renaissance, an album cover, a rotating showcase and “a red custom 3D-printed top that I miraculously got the last thumbnail for a video recording. ‘
He commented: ‘This industry is mega f***y to the core and in its crevices,’ and that he was ‘tired of independent designers like me being treated this way.
“We are so often the last to be paid, the last to suck on the wet dirt after everyone dries up the rivers flowing from our springs,” he said. ‘We are the source. The work I do is next level. It’s so undervalued fiscally for the placements it’s had, it’s amazing.”
He also used a line from Beyonce’s PURE/HONEY that said, “Don’t be funny with my money, honey.”
