Hailey Bieber reveals how she kept her pregnancy a secret for SIX MONTHS and shares her cravings – ahead of birth of first child
Hailey Bieber shocked fans in May when she announced that she was six months pregnant with her and husband Justin Bieber’s first child.
And now the 27-year-old founder of Rhode Skincare is sharing how she kept it a secret for so long.
She said W-magazine This week it was a big help that she no longer had a baby bump.
“I was able to keep it quiet, honestly, because I stayed little for a long time,” Hailey explains.
“I didn’t really have a belly until I was six months pregnant. That’s when I announced it. I could wear big coats and stuff.”
Hailey continued, “I probably could have hidden it until the end. But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy.”

Before Justin Bieber’s wife went public with her secret, she felt like she was “hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel right.”
“I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
Hailey announced her pregnancy news on May 9, 2024, with an Instagram video of her and Justin renewing their vows in Hawaii. Her wedding dress hugs her growing baby bump.
The couple, who will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary in September, have not yet revealed the gender of their unborn baby.
Hailey kept her fans updated on her pregnancy by sharing photos of her baby bump on social media.
But the brunette beauty opened up to W magazine about her cravings, morning sickness and how she’s avoided the internet to seek pregnancy advice.
Hailey explained that she follows a high-protein pregnancy diet with “lots of eggs, chicken, and steak.”
But she also likes ready-made products from the Los Angeles health food store Erewhon — a celebrity favorite — and the trendy drink kombucha.

Pizza is also on the menu.
“I just listen to what the baby wants. If the baby wants pizza one day, we’ll have pizza,” Hailey said.
The influencer also allows herself the ‘enormous luxury’ of hiring a private chef for the evenings.
Stephen Baldwin’s daughter said she suffered from acute morning sickness during her first trimester. She added: ‘I don’t know why they call it that because it lasts all day. We should change the name.’
Now that her family is growing, Hailey says she’s also trying to take advantage of the little time she and Justin have left one-on-one.
The duo married in 2018 and will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary in September.
‘At the beginning [of pregnancy]”It was super emotional for me. Like, ‘I love this human being so much. How can I bring anyone else into this?’ I’m trying to absorb these days of Justin and me, just the two of us,” she said.
She also has to be careful about going online, because “the internet is a scary place for a pregnant woman,” given all the anecdotes circulating on social media.
“You see so many stories — traumatic birth stories, traumatic experiences — and I know that’s very real. But I don’t want to scare myself,” she said.

Hailey admitted that she is increasingly distancing herself from her Baldwin family, who have been repeatedly criticized in recent years.
Her older sister Alaia, 31, was arrested in February for assault after allegedly throwing a used tampon at a bartender while drunk.
Meanwhile, Alec’s manslaughter charges were remarkably dropped earlier this month in a case related to the Rust shooting.
On the set of his 2021 western Rust, Alec accidentally shot and killed cameraman Halyna Hutchins with a gun he was using as a prop.
Stephen has also been closely monitored over the years and in 2018 adamantly denied having an extramarital affair with a masseur.
“I’m not super close with my family at this point in my life because I feel like I’m very independent. I’m my own individual now and I’ve built my own family,” Hailey said.
“But when I look back on my childhood and how I grew up, I have really fond, precious memories,” adds Hailey, whose uncles Daniel and Billy are also actors.
“I had a pretty normal childhood. Of course, I come from the family I come from, and I’ve always recognized that it was different.”
Now that she’s a celebrity herself, Hailey has faced a fair share of criticism from online trolls, especially the die-hard fans of Justin’s teenage girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Although Hailey tries to ‘hide’ the criticism she receives, she finds it difficult to completely suppress her feelings about it.
“People have made me feel bad about my relationship from day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy,” Hailey said.
“I always tried to pretend that it hurt less and less. I tried to think that at some point you get used to it, that this is what is going to be said and this is what people are going to do. But I realize that it never really hurts less.”
