Woman notices strange similarity among all of her co-workers…can YOU see the pattern?

A Tennessee restaurant worker went viral online after sharing what she and nine of her coworkers have in common: They’re all young women with blonde hair.

The server, known online as Jessie, posted a viral video Last week, she posted a photo of herself and her colleagues — who happened to be young, blonde girls — on TikTok and wrote, “the hiring manager had a type.”

“Can I interest you in a petite blonde waitress — or the other petite blonde waitress?” she wrote in the video description.

Jessie and her nine coworkers — all of whom are seen laughing in the video — work at a Tennessee restaurant called Lakeside Tavern.

It’s unclear how long Jessie has been working at the Knoxville restaurant, but she claimed to have been named employee of the month in 2022.

A restaurant worker named Jessie posted a viral video last week that showed at least 10 employees at a Tennessee restaurant assaulting young women with blonde hair

Despite the hilarious clip featuring the blonde staff members, Jessie proved that Lakeside Tavern does indeed hire people with different hair colors.

On July 4, she posted two more videos featuring her colleagues, one of which had dark hair and the other was male.

Social media users were quick to comment on the resemblance between all the women, with one writing: ‘I know everyone confuses their waitress.’

Another added: ‘My waitress was the blonde one!’ And a third said: ‘I wouldn’t remember anyone’s name.’

Other users complimented the staff, writing, “I’m a kid in a candy store. No bad choices,” while another hilariously commented, “Where is this place? A friend of mine wants to know.”

Jessie has been working at Lakeside Tavern in Knoxville for at least two years and one of her recent videos proved that she works with employees who are male or have dark hair

Hiring only blonde hair (which Lakeside Tavern clearly does not do) could be a violation of Department of Labor (DOL) laws.

According to the DOL website, more than 180 laws are enforced by two agencies, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

The EEOC protects employees from discrimination based on age, religion, marital status, pregnancy, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, and gender.

Another aspect that can be a game changer for the workplace is the so-called ‘pretty privilege’. This term is used by many Gen Z’ers online to describe individuals who have more opportunities because of their appearance.

“A beautiful privilege is a widespread but often overlooked phenomenon in the workplace,” according to a legal article on JD Supra read.

“By acknowledging its existence and taking proactive steps to address it, employers and employees can create a more inclusive and equitable work environment where people are valued for their skills, contributions and character, rather than their appearance.”
