Hilarious moment Mercury guard Sophie Cunningham chugs a margarita as she stuns courtside at WNBA All-Star Game

WNBA player Sophie Cunningham provided a hilarious moment during the WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday night when she sat courtside and downed a margarita.

The Phoenix Mercury guard was on hand at her home stadium to watch her teammates Britney Griner, Kahleah Copper and Diana Taurasi suit up for Team USA.

Although Cunningham herself was not involved in the match, she entertained the crowd by quickly knocking back her margarita when the camera was on her.

The 27-year-old had to stop herself from laughing while still swallowing her drink as she was seen on the big screen during the funny moment.

And fellow WNBA player Crystal Dangerfield, who she was sitting with, humorously wiped Cunningham’s face after she finished her drink.

A video of Cunningham’s antics was posted on The Mercury’s Instagram page, with the caption: “Is that a spicy soharita in your hand @sophie_cham?”

The clip has been viewed more than 243,000 times and has received more than 17,000 likes since it was posted last night.

Cunningham, a former college player at Missouri, has turned heads this season with some of her pre-game outfits.

She went viral last month when she posted a series of before and after photos of herself arriving at the Footprint Center, along with photos of herself on the track.

In that case, she posed in the tunnel wearing an oversized Arizona Coyotes shirt – sans pants – and Celine sunglasses.

On Saturday, she wore a strapless black top and blue jeans as she enjoyed the match with Dangerfield and also with Mercury assistant head coach Kristi Tolliver.

The team of two has had a mixed first half of the season, with the Mercury currently sitting at 13-12, sixth out of twelve teams.

The WNBA All-Stars defeated Team USA 117-109 on Saturday.
