Glamorous teacher Alanis Pinion, 24, at $10K-a-year Catholic school is arrested for sending nudes to her 14-year-old student over Snapchat

A 24-year-old female teacher at a private Catholic school has been arrested for allegedly sending nude photos to a 14-year-old student via Snapchat.

Alanis Pinion is accused of regularly using the app to communicate with her eighth-graders at St. Mary Magdalen School in Wilmington, Delaware.

The school charges over $10,000 in annual tuition and serves a devout Catholic community. In addition to education, the school emphasizes service to God and worship.

New Castle County police say Pinion sent “sexually explicit images” to a 14-year-old boy and are “concerned” there are more child victims out there.

Pinion was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual harassment of a child under 18 and endangering the welfare of a child, both felonies.

She is also charged with one felony: first-degree indecent exposure.

Police contacted the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington about the allegations and the diocese cooperated with the investigation.

Pinion was arrested Thursday. She was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and taken to Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution after failing to post $46,000 cash bail.

St. Mary Magdalen School released a statement about Pinion’s arrest, describing her as a “former part-time contract employee.”

“Earlier this week, the school was contacted by the New Castle County Sheriff’s Office to inform us of an investigation and eventual arrest of a former part-time contract employee in connection with allegations of electronically exchanging inappropriate images with a former student,” the school said last week.

The contractor had successfully completed the required background checks prior to employment.
