Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney sued by former Something About Her chef – just one day after Tom Sandoval’s shock lawsuit

Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are being sued by a former chef at their new sandwich shop, Something About Her.

TMZ reports that the women are facing legal action from Penny Davidi Borsuk, a chef who has been named COO/Director of Culinary at Something About Her.

Borsuk alleges that Madix, 39, and Maloney, 37, failed to abide by the business agreement they had made regarding her role at the restaurant.

People According to Borsuk, the two men allegedly did not adhere to the terms of their written “cooperation.”

Borsuk claims she was guaranteed a 10% partnership in June 2023 if she helped develop and operate the restaurant.

She claims that, thanks to this agreement, she has done a significant amount of work to get the restaurant up and running, including filing trademarks for the eatery.

Borsuk claims she was supposed to receive a salary of $7,500 per month until January. In January, her compensation would increase to $10,000 per month.

Now, however, Borsuk claims that Madix and Maloney deny ever having any such collaboration with her.

She now hopes that the judge will uphold the terms of the agreement and that she will be fairly compensated.

Something About Her finally premiered in West Hollywood in May 2024, after two years of unexpected delays.

In April, Maloney announced that she and Madix were no longer working with Borsuk.

“No, we are no longer working with Penny,” she said on the Popping Off with Teddi Mellencamp and Emily Simpson podcast.

While she didn’t say much about the departure, she said the partnership ultimately wasn’t the best match.

“You know, we loved working with Penny, and Penny was great, but ultimately it wasn’t the right fit,” Maloney said.

Borsuk, the chef, has also worked with Lisa Vanderpump, Madix and Maloney’s former employer.

Borsuk worked with Lisa on both Pump Lounge and TomTom.

On her website she states that she works as a culinary specialist and New Business Manager for Sysco Foods.

The new lawsuit comes after Ariana was previously sued, this time by her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval.

Sandoval claims that Madix watched explicit videos of Rachel Leviss on his phone without her “consent.”

Sandoval, 40, alleges that on March 1, 2023, Madix “accessed” his phone and watched videos of him and Leviss, 29, without his “authorization or consent,” according to court documents obtained by We do it weekly.

Sandoval further alleges that Madix made “copies” of the video and shared them with Leviss and others without his consent.

The scandal dates back to the explosive season finale of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules last year, when cameras captured Madix discovering explicit footage of Rachel on her then-boyfriend’s phone.

The nearly nine-year relationship between Madix and Sandoval fell apart over the scandal, and the subsequent romance between Sandoval and Leviss also ended last May.

Madix’s attorney, Jordan Susman, responded to Sandoval’s claims in a statement Tuesday, writing to Us Weekly: “It is appalling that Tom Sandoval continues to torment Ms. Madix.”
