The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast taped a ‘watch party’ without Andy Cohen rather than traditional season 14 reunion

The cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey gathered in two groups on Monday, led by long-estranged sisters-in-law Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, for a “watch party,” one month after Bravo ended their traditional Season 14 reunion.

But the Bravo cameras were rolling as the warring ladies (minus all of their husbands and executive producer Andy Cohen) watched the season 14 finale at Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, NJ (the same place they filmed the season 13 finale) — according to Variety.

The special, which airs after the finale on August 11, will likely be the last time this irreparably divided group will reunite. Rumors have it they’ll be replaced by an entirely new cast, similar to the reboot of The Real Housewives of New York City.

Separate rooms were definitely needed, as Team Teresa — consisting of Jennifer Aydin and Jackie Goldschneider — took over one room in the steakhouse.

Team Melissa took over the other room with Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral and ‘friend’ Jennifer Fessler.

But the Bravo cameras were rolling as the warring ladies (minus all of their husbands and executive producer Andy Cohen) watched the Season 14 finale at Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, NJ (the same place they filmed the Season 13 finale).

Dolores Catania, a true diplomat, divided her time between both chambers, but remained mainly with Giudice.

And instead of the usual shiny, flashy dresses, the RHONJ cast — who also recorded confessionals — dressed in daywear for the special, according to People.

Insiders told the magazine that there will be a “surprise ending” and “at least one big revelation that will send shockwaves through both chambers,” but “it’s not the moment Teresa has long claimed will make her ‘rehabilitated.'”

As for the Season 14 finale, which features a glass jug thrown between Jennifer and Danielle, Andy called it “one of those classic Jersey finales that people will be talking about for a long time.”

“It’s in the great tradition of absolutely shocking, dramatic finales in Jersey,” Cohen teased SiriusXM‘s Reality Checked with Kiki Monique last month.

“They have this final epic group meeting, which feels like The Last Supper and is so Jersey. And it’s shocking and dramatic and it’s great TV.”

But first, the next episode, titled “Sleepover With One Eye Open,” airs this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Previous seasons of RHONJ are available to stream on Peacock.
