Jennifer Aydin says she ‘loves being this weight’ as she confesses to using Mounjaro and not Ozempic: ‘I have so much energy’
Jennifer Aydin playfully revealed that she uses weight loss drug Mounjaro to quash speculation about Ozempic.
The 47-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star denied allegations that she lost weight using Ozempic on Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
“You said before the show that you wanted to make it clear that you’re not with Ozempic,” host Andy Cohen said.
“Oh no, I don’t take Ozempic,” Jennifer said. “So everyone is yelling at me, saying my head is too big for my body, that it’s just my hair, and that I should stop taking Ozempic because their family members can’t get it.
“I’m not on Ozempic. I’m on Mounjaro, okay!?” Jennifer fired back with a playful tone. “It’s 2.5… Sorry! I love being this weight! I love it! I have so much energy.”

Like the well-known diet shot Ozempic, Mounjaro is an anti-diabetic drug that is also used to help people lose weight.
Jennifer’s confession comes after her slimming figure sparked speculation among fans on Instagram about Ozempic.
In a recent Instagram post showing off her bikini body, fans suggested the reality star was using the drug to shed the pounds.
‘Ozempic is not healthy. Your husband is a doctor and should have told you that!’ someone posted.
“Ozempic by any chance?” asked another.
“Leave the Ozempic for people who really need it,” someone commented.
In another post where she is trying on an outfit from Walmart, fans accused her of taking medication.
“I love Jen, she’s one of my favorites but she’s too Ozempic already!”, someone wrote.
“Definitely Olympic,” another commented.
Melissa Gorga claimed in May that all of her RHONJ co-stars except her were using Ozempic to lose weight.
During an appearance, Sherri said that she would rather focus on her fitness regimen to shed pounds.

Her slimming body has fueled Ozempic speculation among fans
“I work out really hard,” she told talk show host Sherri Shepherd. “To each their own, but no, I don’t take it.”
However, the Bravo star said she was not judging her co-stars for using Ozempic.
She added that she is “happy” her co-stars are taking the diabetes drug, which is popular among Hollywood’s elite to lose weight, so they can “feel good” and “look good.”
Melissa made the comments after Shepherd revealed that her co-stars Dolores Cantina and Margaret Josephs also appeared on her show – and claimed that “most of the actors” had taken the diabetes drug.
When asked why most people choose to keep their Olympic language secret, Catania said, “I don’t know why, because there’s no shame in it.”
She previously revealed that she lost 20 kilos with the help of Ozempic alternative, Mounjaro.

Aydin, pictured in 2018, said she loved how she felt and looked during her WWHL appearance
“If a doctor prescribes it for you and you do it right, you will become healthier because you will lose weight,” she said.
“There’s a lot of great things that go into it,” she said on the May 2 episode of Sherri.
After admitting to taking Ozempic herself, she said she had finally reached her “high school weight.”
“I’ll be honest, because it’s true,” she said after making her confession.
Josephs also talked about using Ozempic herself and her positive experiences with the drug.
“After menopause, it’s so hard to lose weight,” she said. “And then you feel ashamed if you’re overweight.”
She continued, “It cuts out the sound of eating, my blood counts are great.”
In comparison, before she started diabetes medication, she “couldn’t do anything at all.”
‘It doesn’t matter if I eat healthy and exercise, so I don’t see why I should be ashamed of it if it is helpful to others.’
