Bride slammed over her barely-there designer gown: ‘I can’t believe she turned up in underwear’
A bride was ridiculed online for walking down the aisle in a sheer wedding dress.
Danish woman Pernille Rosenkilde caused a stir with her revealing dress, which some called ‘inappropriate’.
Pernilles The look was her own design and consisted of a feathered vest over tights with a sheer, veil-like skirt.
“I love wearing feathers and sheer fabrics, but I also wanted the dress to be elegant, classy and a little bit sexy,” she told Vogue Scandinavia.
People reacted strongly to the bride’s unique style after a photo of her dress was shared on a popular Facebook group that mocks weddings.
“This woman wore this to a church wedding, she showed up in underwear to a house of worship,” one woman said.
Most people were more shocked by the design itself than by the question of whether it was appropriate to wear it to church.
“I don’t care if it’s a pancake house, it’s an ugly, uncomfortable place with granny panties and a Muppet top,” said one woman.

Most people found it difficult to take the unique bridal design seriously.
“The inspiration was a big bird swimsuit, but for a wedding,” one woman asked.
“When you have a wedding at 2pm and you’re on the bridge at 3pm,” joked another.
Others defended the fashion designer bride for daring to be original on her special day.
“She looks damn good,” said one woman.
“Eh. You don’t become an influencer by being boring,” said another.
Many considered it ‘prudish’ and old-fashioned to shame the bride for being religiously inappropriate.
“Sir, don’t put your legs in a building,” said one woman.
“Priests have done a much worse job in the church,” said another man.
Others had no problem with blasphemy and wedding dresses that caused a bit of a ‘pearl mess’.
Yet there were still those who felt that the bride’s dress should have suited the surroundings better.
“I’m an atheist, but it’s called respect for other people. I wouldn’t wear it to church,” one woman said.
The groom did not escape unscathed either.
Many people harassed him because of his slipper shoes and his baggy ‘Chicago gangster’ suit.
“It’s even worse than her ‘dress’…he looks like a repeat DUI offender,” one woman said.
“He who hemmed his pants must confess his sins,” joked another woman.
