Caitlin Clarks posts hilarious birthday message to boyfriend Connor McCaffery
Caitlin Clark playfully teased her boyfriend Connor McCaffery on Saturday when she posted a message on Instagram for his birthday.
The couple both played basketball at the University of Iowa and met in college, and Clark went on to become a household name across the country.
And the Indiana Fever rookie joked about a friendly competition between the two when McCaffrey turned 26.
‘Happy Birthday Con! Celebrating you is easy 🙂 thankful to have someone as selfless and loving as you in my life,’ she wrote. ‘May this be the year you finally find a way to outdo me 😉 Love you always.’
Clark posted four photos to Instagram, including one of McCaffery kissing her head and one of them embracing on the court.

While McCaffery didn’t quite develop into a star player in college like Clark, he proved himself to be a reliable player in six seasons with the Hawkeyes.
He played in 166 games (89 as a starter) and averaged 4.5 points per game and 3.7 assists.
Clark, as she mentioned, absolutely has him topped in the shooting category, having made just 31.7 percent of his three-pointers in his career.
The Fever debutant, who was initially left off the US Olympic roster, now has a lifeline in Paris as Diana Taurasi battles a leg injury.
Six-time Olympian and Phoenix Mercury guard Taurasi missed her team’s last four WNBA games because of the issue.
