The body of a man has been found in a stairwell of a house in Melbourne’s east.
Emergency services arrived at the apartment complex on Young Street in Box Hill at around 7.45pm on Saturday after reports of an attack.
When police entered the home, they found the man dead in a stairwell.
He has not yet been officially identified.
Victoria Police said a second man is assisting police with their investigation.
Homicide detectives are on the scene and the investigation into the death is ongoing.
