Trump shooter ‘is down’: Secret Service agents heard screaming moments after shots fired at former president’s Pennsylvania rally

Secret Service agents shouted, β€œThe shooter is down,” moments after shots were fired at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Both male and female voices repeated the phrase, moments after the shots rang out and Trump bent over with blood streaming from his ear.

Trump’s team says the former president is “doing fine.” Officials have yet to confirm whether the shooter was injured, killed or arrested. Their identities have not yet been released.

The Trump campaign has yet to say whether the president was shot or grazed in the shooting. A spokesman said more details would be forthcoming.

A medical helicopter was seen taking off from the scene of the rally 19 minutes after the shooting, believed to be headed to a hospital in nearby Pittsburgh. The New York Times reported.

Dramatic footage seen around the world showed popping sounds as the 2024 presidential candidate took to the stage to address a large crowd of supporters.

Trump was seen ducking as shouts rang out and fans in MAGA shirts stood behind him and threw themselves to the ground.
