Travis Kelce ‘BLOODIES spectator in celebrity golf tournament after accidentally shanking a tee shot off a woman’s head’

Travis Kelce’s first round at the 2024 American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament proved about as dangerous as professional football.

The Kansas City Chiefs star fired multiple shots into the crowd at Lake Tahoe, leaving a woman in her 20s bleeding and requiring medical attention, officials said. PeopleNo footage of the incident has appeared online.

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend was on the 16th hole at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course when his drive hit the woman in the back of the head. An eyewitness told People that blood was visible in her blonde hair.

Kelce took the long walk through the crowd to check her out, later joking that a photo with the woman was the least he could do. His brother and tournament rival, Jason, also checked on the woman, who reportedly said she wasn’t sure which of the two Kelce brothers had hit the wrong shot.

Paramedics rushed to the scene to treat the woman, who has not yet been identified. She was eventually able to stand on her own after sitting on the ground for several minutes. Staff carried her off the court and play quickly resumed.

Spokespeople for the course and the tournament did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for more information.

Kelce finished his first round tied for 62nd with legendary pitcher Roger Clemens and SNL alumnus Colin Jost, a far cry from where he finished in 2023, when he won the tournament.

Interestingly enough, Travis Jason recently gave some prescient advice about the event in a podcast episode.

“This is my first time going to Lake Tahoe. Any advice?” Jason asked Travis on an episode of New Heights.

“My advice would be don’t feel guilty if you hit someone just because they bought the ticket,” Travis joked.

“They’re a bunch of amateurs trying to play golf, so don’t feel bad,” Travis continued. “People have been hit before. They’ve got first aiders, whatever it’s called, they’ve been to every hole. Everybody’s going to be okay.”

It turns out Travis was right.

Not only did he hit the aforementioned woman, but Kelce’s tee shot also ended up in the crowd on the first hole, where it struck a man in the arm.

A video posted to X shows Kelce marching across the court with a sheriff before finding the fan who was hit by his shot. Upon meeting the gentleman, who was wearing a bright blue button-down, Kelce shook his hand before leaning in to kiss his arm.

The apologetic gesture was met with laughter and cheers from the crowd at Edgewood Tahoe Resort.

Despite this, the Kelces drew a stampede of fans as they walked the court. In addition to the brothers, a laundry list of NFL talent is also participating in the all-star tournament.

Also among the participants were Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, Derek Carr, Baker Mayfield, Trevor Lawrence, Joe Flacco and Kyle Juszczyk.

Additionally, NFL legends including Jerry Rice, Steve Young and Tony Romo played along with several TV and movie stars.

Before Travis hit a spectator with his drive, Jason won the pre-tournament long drive competition. Travis will win the event in 2023. This year, however, Jason outpaced everyone with a drive that traveled 322 yards.
