Dream Team winners Liam and Rhys break their silence over competitors Taeler and Elle’s controversial ‘villain’ edit: ‘Wrong’

Dream Team winners Liam and Rhys Almond have broken their silence on the ‘villain’ edit of their competitors Taeler and Elle.

The Queensland The tradie brothers said the sisters, who finished third on the show, were often unfairly perceived as ‘mean’ due to their extremely competitive nature.

“Outside of the competition, Taeler and Ellie were great people. I just think they were very competitive,” Liam said Yahoo Lifestyle.

“Because they’re so competitive, I think they’ve gone about things a little bit the wrong way, and it shows on TV. I think a lot of Australians have just noticed that that’s not what this show is about.”

Rhys added that taking part in the show had been a stressful experience for all the contestants and he was adamant that there would be no hard feelings.

“There was a lot of work, a lot of stress, a lot of thinking about something, day in and day out. It didn’t feel like you had a break the whole time you were doing it, so it was great to be done,” he said.

“All that hard work and the fact that I had a dream house and we were able to get Rhys that $100,000 was amazing,” Liam added.

Liam and Rhys were announced winners of the Channel Seven reality series on Tuesday after a thrilling finale.
