Biden’s decay is a national crisis! It’s now not a question of if Joe can run… he’s clearly not fit to be President. MAUREEN CALLAHAN demands he be removed from office – before it’s too late
The issue is not whether President Biden should withdraw from the race. It is why he has not been removed from office.
As Thursday night’s painful NATO press conference demonstrated, Biden is not remotely fit to serve. Earlier in the day — when he was at his sharpest, we’re told — he introduced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin.”
In response to the first question during his “Big Boy” press conference a few hours later, Biden referred to Kamala Harris as “Vice President Trump.”
On Friday morning, the largest Biden super PAC announced that they have frozen $90 million as long as Joe remains at the top of the list, according to the New York Times.
Seventeen elected Democrats have, as of this writing, called for Biden to surrender the nomination, and at least a half-dozen others are reportedly preparing to join that call.
Nancy Pelosi has indicated she agrees. Former President Barack Obama is reportedly on board; among other indicators, he approved George Clooney’s scathing New York Times op-ed calling on Biden to resign.

All of which leads to the only real question: If Joe Biden, sick and frail at 81, is unfit to run for office, how can he spend another minute as president?
If you think sentiment is determined by partisanship, listen to the Democrats themselves.
‘I doubt [the President] “is the one who makes important decisions about our country,” Washington state Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, a Democrat, wrote Thursday.
How can this not be a five alarm fire?
Here’s just one twisted thought from Biden last night: “I was told not to go to Europe — I mean, to Asia — including Europe, but to Asia.”
Another: ‘Our army works- —- I follow the advice of my commander in chief’ —
As president, Joe Biden is the commander in chief.
Ukraine is fighting for its existence, as is Israel. World leaders at the G7 — the same world leaders Biden hosted this week — have reportedly expressed serious concerns about his cognitive decline.
As Thursday night’s painful NATO press conference proved, Biden is not fit to serve. Earlier in the day, at his sharpest, we are told, he introduced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin.”
We heard a few days ago that in the eight months between last summer and late spring, a Parkinson’s disease specialist has been to the White House at least eight times.
Until last night, Biden had not held a press conference in that same period – eight months.
This is inexcusable. As that fateful debate showed, we now all know why: The media, working with Biden’s staff and party elders, hoped to keep Biden and his critical condition under wraps until Election Day.
They all knew. They all have blood on their hands.
This is a Watergate-scale scandal. We have a sitting president who is incapable of doing the job. But too many in the media can’t admit it, because they would expose themselves to the glorified White House stenographers they have become.
Instead, after the debate, they turn around and express shock — shock! — over the president’s decompensation, while admitting, seemingly without much self-consciousness, that they have known about this crisis for some time.
NBC News chief political analyst Chuck Todd revealed on Wednesday that a senior Biden cabinet secretary told him two years ago that the president “cannot run again like this.”
New York Magazine’s Washington correspondent Olivia Nuzzi wrote after the debate that she had been hearing about the president’s steep decline for at least six months. She and her colleagues, she wrote, shared the same reaction to Biden at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April:
Nancy Pelosi has indicated she agrees. Former President Barack Obama is reportedly on board; among other indicators, he approved George Clooney’s scathing New York Times op-ed calling on Biden to resign.
‘The group of reporters — not prompted by me, I should add — made guesses about how dead he appeared to be, percentage-wise. “Forty percent?” one of them asked.’
Biden used the word “move” often in his comments about NATO, as if subconsciously encouraging us to see him as active.
He also fell silent frequently, saying “anyway…” at least nine times before abandoning his train of thought.
He used his infamous cheat sheet to call reporters he’s known for years, slurred his words, and responded with a long-winded rambling about the economy when asked about repeated calls from Democrats to back off. He mentioned China and the spy balloon (there was more than one, but who cares about details?) before assuring us all was fine, even though he reportedly prefers to go to bed at 8 p.m. and can only work a 6-hour day.
As his own spokesman said, if an emergency call comes in in the middle of the night, Biden’s staff will let him sleep.
Remove this man, right now.
He can’t be too dangerous to run against Trump, but safe enough to run the world. It seems like such an obvious statement, except for one small fact: no one says it.
Maybe because it raises some very uncomfortable questions, like: Who actually runs the country?
Is it Dr. Jill, who we now know was present at the high-level meetings at the White House?
Is it Hunter, the former drug addict, unscrupulous son who depends on his father’s power for his own personal wealth and who may need a presidential pardon to avoid prison?
And what about Kamala Harris, Biden’s de facto VP, who would become the first Black woman president of the United States if Biden were ousted? Isn’t that the kind of DEI feather the Dems would otherwise feast on? What do they know that we don’t? Or is it Jill’s personal grudge, as DailyMail.com exclusively reported?

If the latter is the case, then removing the president is even more urgent. The Bidens clearly care about one thing and one thing only: holding on to power at all costs, national security may suffer.
It is long past time to invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution and remove the President from office. It can be done in three ways.
Biden could resign with a written declaration that he is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.” Or he could “temporarily” step aside and make Harris acting president. If he refuses either, the VP and a majority of the Cabinet could declare him unfit, and if he still refuses to go, he could be removed by a two-thirds majority in both houses of Congress.
If Democrats are true patriots, now is the time to deploy this threat: Leave with dignity, or we will force you out and destroy your legacy.
We are post-Orwellian. This distorted reality field only serves to make America, and the world, a much more dangerous place.
How can we be expected to sacrifice so much for one man’s ego?
