Jeopardy! viewers on the East Coast erupted in anger after ABC cut Thursday night’s episode short before Jeopardy!’s final broadcast in favor of President Joe Biden’s press conference.
Fans of the game show were furious that they were unable to watch contestants Liz McKenna, Isaac Hirsch and Robert Voyles compete in the final round, calling the disruption “the worst thing” the network executives could have done.
Instead, the game was rudely interrupted by a special ABC News report by David Muir as President Biden prepared to take questions from reporters following his speech at the NATO summit on the car crash in Washington DC.
It didn’t take long for frustrated Jeopardy! viewers to take to social media to complain about the disruption.
“If I miss one second of Jeopardy because of that senile puppet’s press conference, I will never forgive WABC-TV,” fumed one viewer on X.

Another raged: “I miss Jeopardy for this dumbass, get off my TV.”
A third responded angrily: ‘I’m sick of politics and these old farts and basically this country. I just wanted to watch Jeopardy after another stressful day.’
“For the second day in a row ABC has ruined Jeopardy for me,” added a fourth.
A fifth said: “I’ll take the presidents who piss me off for $500, Alex.”
A sixth wrote: ‘Interrupting Final Jeopardy is the worst thing you can do to a daily viewer of the show.’
On Reddit, someone else posted: ‘Damn! I almost watched the entire episode before Bidenmageddon.’
For Final Jeopardy!, host Ken Jennings asked for a tip from the Countries of the World category.
“Until 1991, this country, named after a river, had a capital that means ‘lakes’ in Portuguese,” he said.

The correct answer was Nigeria and was only guessed by Isaac, who then added $1,600 to his prize pool and ultimately won $20,000.
Fans who weren’t able to see Isaac’s highlight joked that they owed a lot to the viewers who were able to see the clip and posted it online for those who missed it.
“Thanks for sharing. It was a done deal anyway, but I like to have closure on these things,” one fan wrote.
Another added: ‘I was wrong but at least I can sleep tonight. Thank you kind stranger!’
Isaac is now the reigning seven-day champion with a total purse of $161,388.
Viewers on the East Coast didn’t get to see the final moments of the game.
Biden accidentally introduced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as President Putin
Instead, they watched as Biden accidentally called Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump.”
“Look, I wouldn’t have chosen Vice President Trump as vice president if I didn’t think she was qualified to be president,” he said.
The embarrassing blunder came just an hour after he introduced Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin.”
Elsewhere, the Democratic leader insisted he doesn’t need a cognitive test because he’s in “good shape” and denied reports that he wants to get more sleep.
