Georgina Rodriguez stuns in a skimpy bikini on family getaway while Cristiano Ronaldo looks in high spirits following Portugal’s devastating loss at Euros 2024

Georgina Rodriguez flashed a skimpy bikini in photos she shared on Instagram on Thursday from her recent family outing.

Former saleswoman Georgina, 30, shared beautiful images of her family enjoying a beach holiday.

Her husband Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, appeared to be in cheerful mood after Portugal’s devastating loss at the 2024 European Championship.

Georgina and Cristiano, 39, have daughters Alana and Bella together and welcomed twins Eva María and Mateo via surrogacy.

Bella had a twin brother named Angel, but he sadly passed away shortly after birth. Cristiano has one last child, Cristiano Jr., 14, from a previous relationship.

On her Instagram page, where she has more than 60 million followers, Georgina describes herself as a mother of six children.

She and Cristiano met in 2016 when she caught his attention while working as a saleswoman in a Gucci store in Madrid.

Their much-needed breakthrough came after Portugal lost on penalties to France, with Cristiano failing to score a single goal.

The loss was further compounded when Cristiano revealed that this would be the last time he would compete in a European Championship.

France won 5-3 on penalties in the first 90 minutes and the score was still 0-0 after 30 minutes of extra time.

After their victory, France reached the semi-finals but lost 2-1 to Spain, who will face England in the final of Euro 2024 on Sunday.

Reflecting on Portugal’s loss, Cristiano wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ‘We wanted more. We deserved more. For us. For each of you. For Portugal.

“We are grateful for all that you have given us and for all that we have accomplished so far.”

‘On and off the field, I know this legacy will be honored and built upon. Together.’

Cristiano scored 130 goals in 212 games for Portugal during his professional career.

“It is without a doubt my last European Championship,” a Portuguese news agency said, Oh Jogo.

‘But I don’t get emotional about that, I get emotional about everything that football entails. Because of the enthusiasm I have for the game, the enthusiasm to see my supporters, my family, the affection people have for me.

“It’s not about me leaving football, because if I do, what else do I have to do or win? It’s not about getting one point more or one point less. Making people happy is what motivates me the most.”

The former Real Madrid and Man United star has yet to score a goal from open play in the Championship, however, most notably missing a penalty in Roberto Martinez’s 1-0 win over Slovenia in their opening match against the knockout side.

While this could be Ronaldo’s last European Championship, he could well reach the next World Cup in 2026.

Although he did not score at Euro 2024, he was the top scorer in the Saudi Pro League this season. There may be questions about the level of the competition, but Ronaldo continues to strive for glory.

Ronaldo was in tears after he was denied from the penalty spot by goalkeeper Jan Oblak during the round of 16 against Slovenia, missing a golden opportunity to take the lead.

It was a frustrating night for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who just couldn’t seem to score, with Ronaldo breaking down in tears at half-time between the final score and extra time.

And speaking about the Al-Nassr striker’s emotional outburst, Portugal coach Martinez explained why Ronaldo burst into tears.

“His tears are frustration,” Martinez said. “Pepe is a role model in Portuguese football. What he did tonight and in the tournament will remain with us for generations to come.”
