Vick Hope and Lauren Silverman make the most of the sunshine after an unseasonably wet Wimbledon as they opt for leggy looks to attend the men’s semi-finals

After days of unseasonably wet weather, the stars in attendance at the Wimbledon Championships were finally treated to some sunshine on Friday as stars descended on SW19 for the men’s semi-finals.

Guests Vick Hope and Lauren Silverman made the most of climate change and showed off their toned pins in a set of stylish shorts as they headed to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Vick showed off her toned abs and opted for a cute brown bralette with a laser-cut print, paired with matching city shorts.

The BBC Radio 1 star teamed her look with a matching leather jacket and a chic handbag, completing her look with chunky block heels.

Simon Cowell’s fiancée Lauren showed off her elegant sense of style by wearing a stylish cream-coloured look consisting of shorts and a matching blouse.

The mother of three teamed her outfit with matching brown heels and a cream jacket, which made her colourful pins stand out after days of wet weather in the capital.

Angela Scanlon posed with long legs in a cheerful brown paperbag skirt next to Vick in the champagne suite.

The presenter teamed her look with a burgundy polo shirt and wore her chestnut locks in a chic bun.

Margot Robbie also made her first public appearance at Wimbledon since announcing she is expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerley.

The 34-year-old actress looked stunning as a pregnant woman in a polka-dot dress as she gently held her baby bump and walked hand-in-hand with Tom.

Margot completed her look with black heeled mules, a bowling bag and sunglasses, while Tom, also 34, opted for beige chinos.

Hugh Grant, 63, and his wife Anna Elisabet Eberstein were also in the star-studded audience.

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will both be in action on Day 12 of Wimbledon, as they both bid to secure a spot in the final.

Djokovic will face Italian Lorenzo Musetti, while Alcaraz will face Daniil Medvedev on Centre Court.

Wimbledon organisers have been extremely busy trying to catch up on tennis matches after persistent rain washed away large parts of the tournament.

It comes as the All England Club has announced it will pay out more than £250,000 in refunds after much of Tuesday’s championship was cancelled due to rain.

Until 5 p.m., no play was performed on the outdoor courts and 75 of the 91 scheduled matches were canceled.

About 12 matches were postponed as showers fell on the pitch all day.

Thousands of £25 Ground Pass and £50 Court Two ticket holders – who were among the 34,922 fans in attendance – are entitled to the precious refunds.

Announcing the refund plan, the club said: ‘Ticket holders who purchased a No 2 Show Court ticket or a Grounds Pass before 5pm on Tuesday 9th July will be eligible for a full refund due to the rain delays and resulting match cancellations.’

However, it was said that it may take until the end of the month for the automatic refunds to be processed as the amounts involved are huge.

‘Given the high volume of refunds, it will take some time to process this, but we expect completion by the end of this month.

“We thank all affected ticket holders for their patience and understanding,” the Club added. It is thought that the number of eligible tickets will be in the region of 7,500, equating to more than a quarter of a million pounds in refunds.

The organization is busy working to clear the backlog of matches, after the tournament was largely plagued by bad weather, which resulted in almost 200 tennis matches being canceled.

Yesterday, play on the outdoor courts was moved forward one hour, to 10:30 am, to make up for the backlog.

The backlog has caused the early rounds of mixed doubles to be delayed considerably, forcing the club to move the mixed doubles final to Sunday. The women’s doubles final is on Saturday.

According to the Met Office, 52.6mm of rain has fallen in the first nine days of the championships, which is the equivalent of a month’s worth of rain. On Tuesday, 5.6mm of rain was recorded at nearby Kew Gardens.
