The Duke is set to receive the controversial Pat Tillman Award, a military honour, on Thursday night. However, about an hour before the event was due to start, a plane flew over carrying a banner aimed at the Royal Family.
“Prince Harry: Investigate mum’s death,” the cryptic message read.
It’s unclear what the message’s intent was, or who paid for it to be spread throughout Hollywood in advance of the flashy event.

The 39-year-old Duke will accept the Pat Tillman Award on Thursday night, despite some critics saying he is not a worthy recipient of the military honor
This is happening as the spotlight is on Harry, who is preparing to win the award. He is about to accept the award at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Tennis legend Serena Williams led the stars down the red carpet on Thursday night in preparation for her duties as hostess of the event.
Williams looked stunning as she walked the red carpet in a silver and black dress and wore her light blonde locks in cheerful waves.
It comes just weeks after Tillman’s mother Mary Harry overturned a victory in her son’s honor.
Mary told DailyMail.com last month that she was “shocked” that her son’s award would go to “such a controversial and divisive person”.
She also claimed she was not even consulted about the winner, telling the Mail there are other ‘recipients who would be much more appropriate.’
“These people don’t have the money, the resources, the connections or the privileges that Prince Harry has. I think these people need to be recognised,” she said.

ESPN quickly defended its decision to give the award to Harry following Mary’s comments, saying it had chosen the Duke of Sussex “specifically because of the work of the Invictus Games Foundation.”
