The 32-year-old Star Wars actress skipped the red carpet at the ceremony, which was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
She did take the stage to present an award along with Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin during the broadcast.
The outing came exactly one month after she had spoken openly about her experiences with sexism during her Hollywood career.
Ridley took to the stage in a sleeveless cobalt blue dress that reached the dance floor.

The actress wore her hair pulled back in a tight bun and wore beautiful earrings with blue gemstones.
She completed her look with black heels, which were seen as she walked on stage with Hamlin.
The outing takes place just a month after her appearance in the Reigning with Josh Smith podcast, in which she spoke candidly about her experiences with sexism in Hollywood.
“I did a task and I did something physical, just like the male character did something physical,” she said.
“And someone from the stunt team came up to the guy and patted him on the shoulder. At one point I said, ‘Aren’t you going to give me high fives and all that stuff?'”
Daisy said the stuntman was “very upset” by her comment.
She said: ‘I think it was really hard for him because it wasn’t meant to be bad, he was just… they were just doing the ‘male thing’ that they felt comfortable with and I wasn’t part of that, even though I was doing the exact same thing as the man he was congratulating.
‘Then of course it is very uncomfortable, because when you give your opinion, the person who does that also feels very uncomfortable.’

She added: ‘It’s a learned behaviour… it was just one of those things that really stood out to me because it kept happening.
‘And when I say it to that person, I think it’s very important to apologize.
‘When you do speak out for something, it takes a lot of courage for the other person to say, “I’m really sorry. I didn’t actually realize I was doing that. I see both of you the same way,” and the person couldn’t do that.
“But you know, maybe at his next job, that would be great.”
