Meghan Trainor reveals BAFFLING new bathroom update she’s making so she and husband Daryl Sabara can go to the toilet ‘knees-to-knees’
Meghan Trainor has revealed that she and husband Daryl Sabara are installing two toilets across from each other in their new home so they can relieve themselves “knee-to-knee.”
The 30-year-old singer previously revealed that she and her 32-year-old husband, who is also an actor, had two toilets built next to each other in their home.
She then confessed that not only do they poop and pee together, but that he also often ‘hangs out’ with her when she goes to the toilet, because she ‘misses’ him when she’s ‘not home’.
And now that they’re moving to a new home, the All About That Bass singer said she wanted a similar setup. Unfortunately, their new bathroom was slightly smaller than their current one, which didn’t leave enough room for adjoining toilets.
Instead of putting their toilets and hers next to each other, they decided to put them across from each other. She loves that she can look him in the eye when she sits on the toilet.

The 30-year-old singer revealed earlier in 2021 that she and her 32-year-old actor husband had two toilets built next to each other in their home
‘We’re moving to a new house and it has a toilet on this side and a bidet across from it. But I’m going [the bidet] “a toilet,” she explained during a recent appearance at Dax Shephard’s Expert in armchairs podcasting.
It will be a little different [than our situation now] because it’s a tight bathroom, so we’ll be close. Knee to knee. That’s better. I want to see him.’
Dax and his co-host, Monica Padman, were baffled by her bathroom situation.
“Wait, so you and your husband are sitting next to each other?” Monica asked the film director, as Dax interrupted, “This is so romantic.”
“Yes, it’s the best invention of my entire life,” Meghan told them.
However, she admitted she was “devastated” online when she first revealed they had next-door toilets in 2021.
“People were like, ‘Imagine if you think this is normal.’ Too bad you don’t know what love is. Get over it,” she said, responding to the negative comments.
“Everyone should be free to have their own comfort level and then find a partner with the same comfort level. If two lovers want to hold hands while they do that…,” Dax said before stopping.
And now that they’re moving to a different home, Meghan revealed on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast that she wanted a similar situation. She’s been spotted with the hosts
But unfortunately, she explained, their new bathroom was slightly smaller than their current one, leaving not enough room for adjoining toilets.
So instead of putting their own and her toilets next to each other, they decided to put them across from each other – and she’s glad she can look at Daryl while she’s on the toilet
“I like it,” Monica concluded.
Meghan first made this revelation on the podcast Why Won’t You Date Me? in October 2021.
“We just bought a new house and we’ve been working on it,” she said.
‘Nobody knows this, but in our bathroom there was one toilet, and at night, when we are with the baby, we often have to pee at the same time.
So I thought, “Can we please get two toilets next to each other?”

‘We have two toilets next to each other and we have pooped together twice.’
Hours later, she took to X, formerly Twitter, to “clear things up,” insisting they were only ever number two together once.
“We took a shit together once and we laughed and said never again,” she wrote. “But he’ll hang out with me when I’m taking a shit because we’re soulmates.
“I really miss him when I’m not with him. And of course we pee together.”
