The description of the Chivalrous Spirit Medal IV explains that the Bangboos mumble at night, but that’s not entirely true. The daily cycle in Zenless Zone Zero is divided into four parts: morning, afternoon, evening and midnight, and You only have to show the Bangboos in the evening.

You can open the Inter-Knot Schedule screen to check your current position in the daily cycle. A gray icon will mark the time of day you are currently experiencing.

Advance the time of day by resting on Belle or Wise’s bed or on the couch in the Video Store. You can only do this once per cycle, however, so to advance the day even further, you can also complete substories and quests until the clock reads evening.
