Spanish star player Dani Olmo’s RB Leipzig contract expires in the coming days.

Olmo was one of the standout players at Euro 2024, helping Spain reach the final with a win over France on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old scored his third goal of the tournament just minutes after Lamine Yamal had levelled for Luis de la Fuente’s men.

Olmo also scored in Spain’s quarter-final win over Germany and against Georgia in the round of 16.

The playmaker has a £52m release fee and interest is likely to increase after his impressive performances this summer.

However, the termination clause expires on July 15, so interested clubs will have to act quickly if they want to sign Olmo for a bargain price.

Mail Sport reported in March that Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham are among the clubs keeping a close eye on Olmo’s development, particularly due to his ability to play on both flanks and as a striker.

Other reports now suggest that RB Leipzig’s Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich are also interested in Olmo, in addition to Arsenal.

Olmo signed a new contract last June that runs until 2027. However, the clause means that several parties are now looking at whether he fits into their plans.

He started the season with a hat-trick for Leipzig against Bayern Munich in the German Super Cup and his performances continue to attract scouts from Europe’s top clubs.

Steve Mcmanaman was full of praise for Olmo on Tuesday night, saying: ‘You wonder if he would have been on the pitch so much before Pedri’s injury. He was excellent in the last game, and he was excellent again today.

‘It was a beautiful goal, as Craig [Burley] said, the way he controlled the ball and then passed it [Aurelien] Tchouameni was fantastic. I’m glad UEFA finally gave him the goal because he deserved it with his play.’

Olmo will have the chance to impress again and win the 2024 European Championship Golden Boot when Spain play either England or the Netherlands in the final on Sunday.
