Darryn Lyons, the British Big Brother star and Australian-born photographer, is renting out his stunning Sydney apartment for a whopping $3,500 a week.

Located in fashionable Darlinghurst, the two bedroom, two bathroom apartment comes fully furnished.

Housed in the famous Horizon building, the property features a striking pink colour scheme, bold artwork and lavish amenities.

Lyons, 58, bought the luxury condo off the plan in 1998 for $604,000, the report said. The Wentworth Courier on Wednesday.

According to the publication, Lyons, who served as mayor of Geelong from 2013 to 2016, is currently living in the posh French Riviera resort of St. Tropez and has rented out the apartment at least three times since 2010.

The last time the apartment was for sale was in 2022 for $1,150.

Lyons, who is known for his eccentric style, has added some gorgeous details to his Sydney apartment, including a freestanding, see-through pink Perspex bath.

Each bathroom features marble fittings and mood lighting.

The open plan living and dining area offers stunning panoramic views of the Sydney skyline and features two stunning teardrop chandeliers.

There is also a second lounge area located next to the apartment’s private balcony.

One of the artworks shows a naked, tattooed model wearing a hood.

Another similar portrait hanging nearby shows the same model in a similar pose, fully dressed in a nun’s habit.

Amenities include an outdoor fire pit, tennis court and outdoor pool.

Lyons is said to have made millions of dollars from selling images of the late Princess Diana.

Lyons, who was mayor of Geelong between 2013 and 2016, is currently based in the chic French Riviera city of St Tropez.

Princess Diana was fatally injured and died along with her friend Dodi Fayed and her driver and guard Henri Paul on August 31, 1997.

An inquest was held in London, at which Lyons testified. The inquiry concluded in 2008.

The court ruled that Princess Diana had died wrongfully and blamed Henri Paul for the paparazzi’s careless driving, which had contributed to the crash.

Darryn’s photographer in Paris, Laurent Sola, took pictures of the late princess in her car, which he still owns.

However, the former reality star said he has not sold the photos and never will, despite British and American newspapers once offering him a quarter of a million pounds ($444,000 AUD).

Lyons appeared on Celebrity Big Brother UK and Top Gear UK in 2011.
