NEET-UG controversy: Supreme Court begins hearings, exam ecosystem in focus

For a year, Tathagat Awatar would wake up at sunrise and spend the next six hours locked in his room, staring at his laptop screen. After a quick lunch, he would return to his screen for another six to seven hours. The day would end with a short chat with his parents, dinner, and bed.

The routine didn’t do much for his social life, but it did earn him a score of 720 out of 720 on the 2024 National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), or NEET-UG.
