Married At First Sight UK star April Banbury has said she ‘struggled with her emotions’ during her time on the show on Wednesday.
The former Miss Great Britain, 33, admitted she felt she was “losing herself” as she cried both on and off camera and thanked the welfare team for their support.
Her on-screen husband, George Roberts, was arrested last week on suspicion of controlling and compulsive behavior, the couple are no longer in a relationship.

April continued: “At times I felt like I was losing myself but luckily I had the amazing wellness team especially @emma_pringle_ Emma you will be a friend forever.
So to anyone who suffers from hidden emotions, don’t be afraid to show them. Let’s start normalizing these emotions and heal from them together.”
George, 40, and April were married in a non-legally binding ceremony after they first met at the altar on the hit E4 show.
April recently returned to her £750,000 South London apartment – without ‘husband’ George.
