Mick Jagger, 80, sports a bejewelled yellow jacket as he puts on an energetic display on stage at The Rolling Stones’ Hackney Diamonds show in Vancouver

Mick Jagger showed off his best energy during The Rolling Stones performance in Vancouver last Friday, as the iconic rock band continued their Hackney Diamonds Tour.

The 80-year-old frontman proved he hasn’t aged a day, giving an energetic performance in a striking, jewel-adorned yellow jacket.

The music icon was captured raising his arms in the air as he entertained the crowd at BC Place stadium.

Mick joined his rock bandmates Ronnie Wood, 77, and Keith Richards, 80, and they entertained fans with some of their most iconic songs.

The singer also wears a yellow, white and black leather jacket over the glittery jacket.

Meanwhile, bassist Ronnie stood out in a purple jacket and guitarist Keith wore his signature aquamarine headband and a navy blue silk shirt.

Earlier last week, the group landed in Chicago, where they continue their sold-out US tour.

That evening, Mick wore a chestnut brown leather jacket with a matching shiny top underneath, which attracted attention with its tough look.

Keith and Ronnie accompanied him and showed off their rock skills during a very lively performance at Soldier Field.

In April, Mick said he still finds it difficult to perform without the band’s drummer, Charlie Watts, following his passing in 2021.

Charlie sadly passed away in August 2021 at the age of 80 due to complications following emergency heart surgery.

Steve Jordan has taken Charlie’s place on drums, but Sir Mick says he still misses sharing the stage with his old mate years after Charlie’s death.

Charlie first joined the Stones in 1963, along with Sir Mick, Keith Richards and Brian Jones. Together they went on to become one of the most successful groups of all time.

According to the Mirror, Sir Mick said: ‘Of course it’s hard. I mean, it’s been like that my whole life, since I was 19 or something, it’s always been Charlie.

‘Of course it’s emotional, but you have to get over that in life.

“I love Charlie and everything that comes with it, but I still want to keep making music.”

Band member Keith Richards said: ‘After Charlie passed away we felt that if the Stones were to continue we had to put our stamp on what the Stones are now.’

The band has been touring for over 60 years.
