Investment banker, 30, ‘smeared mud on himself then had sex with a tree near his £5m west London home’, court hears

An investment banker reportedly ‘pushed’ his genitals into a tree in the shadow of London’s famous Albert Memorial.

Westminster Crown Court heard how 30-year-old Paolo Bollag’s usual walk was marred by a spate of flora destruction in April last year, horrifying innocent trees in Kensington Gardens and horrified wildlife.

After denying a charge of public indecency, he was released on bail on condition that he not re-enter the park before his trial.

Bollag was apparently pleasuring himself before he was overpowered and ‘pushed’ into an unknown tree.

The court also heard that the Oakley Capital asset manager pushed soil into his underwear and rubbed his groin.

Bollag appeared before the judge only to confirm his name and age, but denied the charge of public indecency.

The wealth manager was arrested after the incident, which took place a stone’s throw from his Queen’s Gate Place apartment.

Apartments in that part of South Kensington can fetch more than £5 million.

According to Bollag’s LinkedIn profile, his role as an asset manager involves “supporting entrepreneurs and management teams with a focus on software, technology-driven services and consumer internet.”

It also says he is one of the four co-founders of a network of investors called ‘6NINE26’.

The business graduate is due to appear in court in Southwark next month. He has been released on bail, but the only condition is that he does not return to the west London park, which has more than 3,000 trees spread across 242 hectares.
