She told her planners, “You can communicate with Carl because this was his decision. And whatever he did, that’s his responsibility.”
Lindsay said she lost “about $25,000 to $30,000 in deposits for the wedding before the cancellation happened.”
“Now he had to pay a lot of cancellation fees, especially since he waited so long to cancel the wedding. And you know, the longer you wait with the hotel and the rooms, the less money you get back if you cancel the wedding,” she added.
The star said that once the ceremony is 90 days away, “you’re responsible for 50 percent of the rooms.”
She was then asked if she wanted Carl to pay her back the money she had lost. To which she replied, “Yes, we have a lot… There were a lot of discussions with lawyers.”

Fans were able to follow it all during the breakup conversation between the former couple in the latest episode of the series.
Lindsay started the exchange by saying, “I don’t want to fight you. It’s not productive, it’s not helping either of us. Today I thought, ‘Oh, maybe Carl sees me asking questions like I’m belittling you or making you feel inferior.’ And then I thought, ‘But where did this come from?’
But after a summer of tension, Carl confessed that he wanted to call off their wedding plans.
He cited Lindsay’s constant discouragement as she rejected his various career goals, such as acting and opening a sober bar.

“You keep asking too many questions, you violate me, you call me a loser,” he listed.
‘You called me a little bitch, you called me a baby, a little mama’s boy — “run home to your parents.”‘
He then turned his attention to his journey to sobriety, admitting that he believed Hubbard was hoping for his downfall.

While she called her father to blow off steam in another room of their New York apartment, Carl chatted with producers.
“I can hear her conversation,” he told someone off-camera. “It’s like it just happened ‘all of a sudden.'”
“No, this isn’t all of a sudden. That’s the crazy thing. She’s blind to the things that have happened in the past year. Fight after fight after fight.”
“Even in this building we got a noise complaint because of our argument and she got an email from the landlord,” he revealed.
He said he felt like he was “always going to lose” with Lindsay. “She’s going to turn around and tell everyone she’s blown away, she’s blown away and I’m going to be the asshole again and my life is going to be canceled. But she’s going to be the fallen woman that everyone is going to feel sorry for.”
Carl and Lindsay will face off again on Thursday, June 6 at 9 p.m. during the Summer House reunion.
