Two female school employees Railey Greeson and Brooklyn Shuler are arrested for having sex with male students

Two former Calhoun City School District employees have been charged and arrested for allegedly having sex with their students.

Railey Greeson and Brooklyn Shuler, who both played major roles and attended each other’s weddings in the past two years, were indicted Thursday by a Gordon County grand jury on three counts of first-degree sexual contact by an employee or agent.

The first two counts of the indictment allege that Greeson had sex with two different male students while employed by the school district.

Count 3 was against Shuler, 23, who is accused of having sex with a male student.

The grand jury found that the women “reasonably should have known” that all three of their alleged victims were enrolled as students at the time they allegedly engaged in sexual acts with them.

The indictment does not specify how old the students are or which schools they attended at the time of the alleged sex crimes.

The two women were arrested and booked into the Gordon County Jail, where they were later released on bail. Gordon State Gazette defeated.

Greeson and Shuler allegedly had sex with these students between October 29, 2021, and January 3, 2022, before their marriages.

Shuler first married in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, on Nov. 12, 2022, according to her wedding registry website.

Greeson married about a year after Shuler, on October 7, 2023, in Tennessee.

Shuler named Greeson as her best man, describing her as her “best friend” and her “ride or die.”

Shuler did not have the honor of being Greeson’s guest of honor at her wedding, but was a bridesmaid.

It is not yet clear which school these two lifelong friends worked for at the time of the alleged crimes.

Greeson was one of the Calhoun High School students who graduated in 2019, according to an Instagram post featuring a professional photo of her taken in preparation for her senior year.

She is then about 23 years old.

Greeson was also somewhat active on X. More than two years ago she wrote about how she would ‘give feedback’ to her students.

“Giving feedback in the form of grades and averages can be very stressful for students and cause them to struggle with their learning,” Greeson wrote.

Her X-profile shows she attended Kennesaw State and graduated in 2023.

Shuler’s connection to the Calhoun City School District is unclear, but her relationship status is somewhat clearer.

It appears that she is no longer together with the man she married in November 2022 as he has a child with a new woman, according to his Facebook profile.

Greeson can still be seen in her husband’s profile picture on his social media accounts.

If found guilty, Greeson and Shuler face between 1 and 25 years in prison or a fine of up to $100,000.

If the alleged sexual acts with the boys involved sodomy, the women could face up to 50 years in prison.
