Jude Bellingham will insist he had no insulting intentions with the gesture, which has landed him in trouble with UEFA.
European football’s governing body has launched an investigation into the gesture during the victory over Slovakia, in which he pretended to grab his genitals.
UEFA has written to Bellingham asking him to explain his actions. The England star has three days to respond.
The umbrella organization will also write a letter to the Slovak Football Federation to ask for their opinion on the alleged violation.
It is alleged that the gesture was directed at the Slovak right.

Bellingham will reportedly stand by his claim that the gesture was an “inside joke.”
After the game, footage surfaced of the gesture and Bellingham tweeted: ‘An inside joke, meant as a gesture to some close friends who attended the game.
‘Nothing but respect for the way the Slovakian team played tonight.’
Bellingham had scored a sensational bicycle kick to equalise for England and send the match into extra time

There is no timetable for completion of the investigation.
If Bellingham is found guilty, he could theoretically be suspended, but that scenario is considered unlikely.
