Trump makes stunning concession about Biden’s speech at North Carolina rally the day after ‘monster’ debate
In a shocking move, Donald Trump had something nice to say about President Biden’s comeback speech in North Carolina after his disastrous debate performance.
Biden seemed a lot more energetic and manly the day after he failed at Thursday night’s debate. Trump said on Truth Social that he seemed to be “coming out of his trance.”
“His speech on Friday was better… but AMERICA, with all the dangers lurking, needs to ask itself: Do we really want a president who suffocates? I don’t think so!” he added.
Biden responded strongly to the New York Times after the newspaper called on him to withdraw from the presidential race, saying he would have won in 2020 without the newspaper’s support in that election.
Donald Trump surprisingly praised President Biden’s comeback speech in North Carolina after his disastrous debate performance in a post on Truth Social
Trump said Biden “choked” during the debate on Thursday night, but admitted the president was “better” the next day in a speech in North Carolina and “seemed to come out of his trance”
In his Truth Social post, Trump took the opportunity to decry Biden’s performance during the debate, admitting that “strange things happen in big politics.”
“During my debate on Thursday night with Crooked Joe Biden, the worst president in the history of our country, and the person who is trying to get me in jail illegally and strictly for political gain, I saw firsthand a man ‘CHOKING’ under enormous pressure, the likes of which he had never seen before,” Trump wrote.
“The strain of illegality employed by his Injustice Division, the FBI, local attorneys general and district attorneys has placed additional pressure on him.
“FAKE NEWS CNN just announced that it was the most watched program in CNN history with 51,300,000 viewers – not to mention where it aired.”
Trump suggested that the “monstrous” ratings of debate night weighed on Biden, as the pressure “was clearly and openly felt on stage.”
“His speech on Friday was better, and he seems to be coming out of his trance, but AMERICA needs to ask itself, with all the dangers around us, do we really want a president who CHOKES? I do not think so!’ the message concluded.
Many debate observers believed that Trump emerged victorious with more energy and vigor than Biden, even though a number of lies and untruths went unchecked
Trump and Biden each held competing rallies the day after the debate on Friday, with the president’s event in North Carolina making headlines for Biden’s apparent higher energy.
The president used the meeting to assuage widespread concerns as some of his closest allies, including Obama, openly backed him despite admitting his performance was poor.
‘I know I’m not a young man. To state the obvious,” Biden said standing next to First Lady Jill as she wore a Christian Siriano dress with the word “vote” on it.
‘Folks, I no longer walk as easily as I used to. I no longer speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to.’
“But I know what I know, I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. And I know how to do this job. I know how to get things done,” the president argued.
“I give you my word as Biden. “I wouldn’t run for office again if I didn’t believe with all my heart and soul that I could do this job,” he said.
President Joe Biden insisted he can still win the election at his first campaign rally after his disastrous debate performance, where he appeared much more energetic than the night before

Biden’s campaign took a clear hit after the debate, when The New York Times editorial board publicly called on him to drop out of the presidential race.
The Times previously jointly endorsed two Democratic presidential candidates, Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren, over Biden in 2020.
But despite being ignored by the prestigious newspaper, Biden still won his party’s nomination and defeated Trump in November 2020.
On Friday, the Times editorial board wrote that Biden “is not the man he was four years ago” and criticized his motivations for running, saying it was a “reckless gamble.”
A senior adviser to the president told CNN: “The last time Joe Biden lost the support of the New York Times editorial board, it worked out pretty well for him.”
