Qatar Sports Investment (QSI), owner of PSG, has bought a minority stake in Portuguese club Sporting Braga.

Owning the French giants since 2011, QSI has helped the club become one of the European superpowers as they have won 29 trophies in their 11-year ownership of the Ligue 1 club.

Braga will become the second club involved in QSI, although they also want to buy a stake in KAS Eupen in the past year, but there is no deal yet.

While Braga President Antonio Salvador welcomed the group and believed their investment will help the club “fulfill its ambitious plans”.
