It worsens the misery for manager Jurgen Klopp after Luis Diaz also walked away with an injury against The Gunners.
Sportsmail reported on Monday that the Colombian winger is expected to miss 10 games with a knee injury, which would see him return in the Boxing Day clash with Aston Villa.
Injuries to Alexander-Arnold and Matip mean the right side of the Reds’ defense will have to change in the coming games – at a time when they desperately need defensive consistency.
