Julie Goodwin looks very different as troubled MasterChef star gets glamorous makeover ahead of Dancing With The Stars debut
Julie Goodwin has had a very glamorous makeover ahead of her appearance on Channel Seven’s Dancing With The Stars.
The MasterChef season one winner, 53, looked very different as she featured in a promo for the competition released on YouTube earlier this month.
The clip showed the celebrity chef making a delicious salsa in a kitchen when hosts Dr. Chris Brown and Sonia Kruger burst in.
“Add a little garnish and you have the perfect salsa,” said Julia as Sonia, 58, wondered: “But is it the perfect salsa?”
Julie seemed shocked by her presence as she responded with a simple ‘yes’ before Dr Chris, 45, added: ‘Is that so?’
As Julie responded in the affirmative, Sonia grabbed her around the waist and led her to a dance number.
“Or is this?” Sonia said as the clip cut to show Julie showing off her dance moves on the dance floor.
She was dressed in a beautiful red dress that reached her about mid-thigh and had a huge floral decoration on one shoulder.

Julie was all smiles as she bowed next to her dance partner on the iconic DWTS steps this season.
With her short locks perfectly curled in the usual manner, Julie dressed up in her iconic glasses frames before slipping on a pair of silver low-heeled shoes.
The clip wraps with Julia turning in her dance partner’s arms before heading back to the kitchen to show Doctor Chris eating the salsa dish she prepared.
Julie appeared on cloud nine in the promo, despite recently opening up about her harrowing childhood trauma, detailed in her new memoir.
In her autobiography, Your Time Starts Now, she describes being sexually abused as a child and later attempting suicide as a teenager.
The TV chef, who shot to fame with her winning performance on MasterChef in 2009, claims the long-buried memory of her abuse returned when she was 16.

It comes after the full cast for Dancing with the Stars 2024 was finally confirmed ahead of its premiere later this year.
Alongside Julie, four-time Gold Logie winner Lisa McCune will try her hand on the dance floor with footy star Ben Cousins and former AFL WAG Nadia Bartel.
They will join singer Samantha Jade, SAS Australia’s Ant Middleton, AFL legend Shane Crawford and Olympian and former senator Nova Peris.
The participants are joined by comedian Nikki Osborne, James Stewart from Home and Away, presenter Adam Dovile from Better Homes and Gardens and chef Hayden Quinn.
