Intel contractors on CIA’s payroll colluded with the Biden campaign to discredit Hunter’s laptop as ‘Russian disinfo,’ bombshell new report claims
Some ex-intelligence officials were actively being paid by the CIA on a contract basis when they signed the letter falsely claiming Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian disinformation.”
Michael Morell, former deputy director of the CIA, and former CIA Inspector General David Buckley was another, according to a new report from the House Judiciary Committee.
Morell was the one who organized the letter after receiving a phone call from current Secretary of State Antony Blinken. He said he did it to give Biden a “talking point” ahead of the 2020 election, when Trump attacked him over the laptop later determined to belong to his son.
According to the report, senior CIA officials were briefed on the letter before it was published, and some expressed concerns about the political nature of the letter.
The signatories’ decision to use their former Intelligence Community titles to promote a narrative of foreign election interference brought the [CIA] in domestic politics,” the report said, “underlines the potential dangers of a politicized intelligence community.”
Earlier this month, Republicans told DailyMail.com they are demanding punishment for the 51 intelligence officials who falsely claimed in 2020 that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation.
The infamous memo, signed by pro-Biden officials ahead of the 2020 election, alleged that damning photos and messages on Hunter Biden’s laptop bore the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign.
This allowed Joe to discredit the laptop and its damning evidence during presidential debates, town halls, and other media appearances leading up to his election.
Now Republicans are demanding retaliation against these 51 ex-intelligence operatives, saying they should be fired, criminally prosecuted or even thrown in jail.
“I think their consent should be revoked,” Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Fla., told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview during congressional baseball practice on Wednesday.
“I think each of them should be investigated.”

Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., said the 51 intelligence officers who provided Biden’s laptop cover will face consequences
The laptop ‘from Hell’ was originally discovered in a tech repair shop in Delaware. Later, the FBI recovered the device and verified its authenticity.
The laptop was back in the spotlight during Hunter Biden’s recent federal weapons trial, where he was found guilty of three felonies. An FBI agent witness confirmed that the agency confirmed the authenticity of the materials on the device.
DailyMail.com led reporting on the laptop since its discovery and had independently verified it by 2021.
Cammack continued: “We know that the intelligence community never operates in absolute numbers and the fact that we came forward and tried to push a narrative that this was disinformation, misinformation, when everyone knew very well that it was not that this was so. very real.’
She said the revelation is evidence of the weaponization and politicization of the Department of Justice (DOJ).
“That speaks volumes about the politicization and weaponization of the DOJ and the IC (intelligence community).”
“Otherwise there must be repercussions, the IC’s verified credibility is at stake if nothing is done with those Intel agents.”
“I think their endorsements should be rescinded,” Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Fla., told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview during congressional baseball practice on Wednesday.

Cammack’s fellow Florida Republican Rep. Greg Steube also said the 51 intelligence officers who provided Biden’s laptop cover should face consequences.
“100 percent, there should absolutely be repercussions for that,” he told DailyMail.com exclusively.
“That’s what the American people are getting frustrated and tired of: They see all these people doing all these terrible things, using the deep state to go after Trump and Russia-gate and Russia. It was all a lie.’
“And none of these people have been held accountable. So if any of them are still working for the government, they should all lose their jobs and then be sued if there’s some case you can go after them for.”
“The thing is, a lot of these people do what they do because they know nothing will happen to them.”
Among the coordinators of the infamous memo are Secretary of State Antony Blinken, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.
Several former intelligence officials doubled down on their 2020 memo earlier this month, saying it was a “patriotic move” that they do not regret.
John Paul MacIsaac, 44, a former Genius Bar employee who runs his own Mac shop in Wilmington, DE, revealed that he turned over the laptop to both the FBI and Rudy Giuliani after discovering the device belonged to Hunter Biden.
In addition to concerned Floridians, Speaker Mike Johnson has also sounded the alarm about the proven credibility of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
‘As if Sec. Blinken’s involvement in the Hunter Biden laptop cover-up wasn’t bad enough, [Weaponization of the Federal Government Subcommittee] has now discovered that the CIA was also involved.’
“This corruption by our top government and intelligence officials is chilling,” he wrote on X in May.
Other Republicans have also called for repercussions for the intelligence officials, with some calling it election interference.
“During Hunter Biden’s trial, the Biden DOJ admitted that Hunter’s laptop was real all along,” Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, posted on X this week.
“Everyone of the 51 former intelligence officials who signed the letter saying the laptop was Russian disinformation must be held accountable.”
Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., similarly posted on That letter disrupted the 2020 election more than Russia could ever hope for.”
