Shocking moment airplane passengers launch racist attack on cop and SLAP officer before being hauled off flight

Two siblings are accused of assault after attacking two police officers on an Avianca plane in Colombia.

The suspects, whose names have been withheld by the Colombian National Police as part of the investigation, attacked officer Carlos Quiñones after they were asked to get off the Avianca plane due to their unruly behavior last Thursday evening at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá.

In the viral video, one of the men can be seen arguing with Quiñones, telling him, “We’re not leaving,” and referring to addresses based on skin color.

His brother places his hand on Quiñones’ chest and tells him, “Don’t treat him badly,” before the allegedly drunken siblings take things to another level.

The man then steps forward and punches Quiñones in the face before his partner steps forward and stops the attacker and escorts him off the plane.

However, the slacker’s sibling tries to prevent the cop, who was attacked, from following his partner and engages in a fight with the cop.

He then leaves his seat and quickly walks down the aisle and reaches for the agent before he too is forced off the plane.

“Police denounce this type of event where two police officers are physically and verbally assaulted on an airplane at El Dorado Airport,” said Lt. Col. Wilson Torres, who oversees the airport’s police department.

“The National Police calls on passengers to disembark from the plane, as stipulated in Colombian aviation regulations,” Torres added. “They become aggressive towards the police and attack them physically and verbally. That is why the police continue to prosecute them for the crime of violence against a public servant.”

Both men were arrested on charges of assault on a public servant but were released by a judge, who charged them with intentional personal injury.

The charge of assault on a public servant carries a prison sentence of four to eight years.
