Olivia Munn and John Mulaney cosy up together as they make first public appearance amid the actress’ breast cancer at Hermes show during Paris Fashion Week

John Mulaney and Olivia Munn made their first public appearance together amid the actress’ breast cancer when they attended the Hermes show during Men’s Paris Fashion Week on Friday.

Olivia, 43, looked stylish as she opted for a long sleeveless vest-style blazer jacket with matching trousers.

She carried her essentials in a small brown leather handbag and pushed her brunette locks away from her face with a pair of sunglasses.

Meanwhile, her partner John, 41, who has been with Olivia since 2021, cut a dapper figure in a gray checked suit.

To keep it casual, he wore the jacket over a gray-blue turtleneck and completed the look with a pair of black shoes.

In March, the star bravely revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer last year and had a double mastectomy.

And earlier this month, Olivia made her first red carpet appearance since bravely revealing her diagnosis at the Chanel Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner in New York City.

However, the Hermes show marks the first time the couple, who share two-year-old son Malcolm, have made an official public appearance since the diagnosis.

Olivia revealed in March that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2023 and has since undergone four surgeries, including a double mastectomy, with the treatment putting her into a medically induced menopause.

In a recent interview with Fashionshe revealed that she had also undergone her fifth surgery: a hysterectomy.

‘I have now had an oophorectomy and hysterectomy. I had my uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries removed,” Munn told Vogue in a Mother’s Day profile.

She said Good morning America last month: ‘It’s cancer… that’s the word you don’t want to hear.

“There are a lot of other things you think you can beat, but you know cancer kills a lot of people. And all I thought about was my baby.”

She added why she wanted to “document” her cancer journey: “Well, because if I didn’t make it, I wanted my son, when he got older, to know that I fought to be here.” That I did my best.

“You want the people in your life… you want the people who might not really understand what’s going on to know that you did everything you could to be here.”

Olivia also shared how part of the treatment for her ‘luminal B’ cancer involved suppressing the production of hormones that cause the cancer to grow, which led to her going into a medically induced menopause, which left her without time could spend with her son.

She added, “The hormone suppression therapy is brutal and it left me with next level debilitating exhaustion.

“I was in bed all day, all day, and my quality of life was so minimal that I couldn’t be there for my baby.

“Every time Malcolm came into the house he would run straight to my bed because he knows I’m there, like he associates that with me.

“And that was just too hard for me to bear. I had to find out if there was another option.”

Olivia decided to have a hysterectomy and oophorectomy, but wanted to do an egg retrieval before the operations so that she and John still had the option of having more children.

She added, “John and I talked about it for a long time. We realized we weren’t done growing our family yet.

“That’s a scary process because I have a cancer that feeds on hormones, so I knew there was a risk and our doctor said, ‘Look, we’re going to get you one and then we’re going to call it.’

“And then our doctor called and he said, ‘Hey, we got the results back.’ They’re two healthy embryos, and I… I mean, we just started crying, both of us.”
